E-ViEW pilot activity has started at the University of Lodz

On March 20th at the Faculty of Management (University of Lodz, Poland) the E-ViEW pilot activity began.

Zbigniew Mikurenda from the Interfaculty Unit of New Media and Distance Learning has initiated by presenting E-ViEW objectives and expected results.

Students were informed on the technical requirements to access the university platform and then guided through the process of registration. The characteristics of Moodle based e-campus were introduced step by step . Students were familiarised with certain features of the system that will enable them to take the course and provided with contact details to the technical support.

According to the schedule introduced by the course tutor, dr Tomasz Czapla, the particular activities will function on a weekly basis – students are expected to perform each task within one week. Afterwards, the learning material will be replaced by the new one.

118 students have been signed up for the course. Their evaluation will be carried out on the platform and their activities will be monitored. The pilot is expected to be completed by the end of the semester.
