University of Lodz is a partner in new project

University of Lodz has joined an international consortium that is to implement a new project Lite (Lost in Transition Europe) under the Lifelong Learning Programme (Erasmus Multilateral Project, Social inclusion in higher education).

The LiTE project aims to understand current national strategies which support the transition from non-compulsory or mature learners to Higher Education and build on, or develop new, strategies and resources. The focus will predominately be on widening participation and will target non-traditional HE learners and underrepresented groups. The project aims to develop a framework for supportive strategies and resources for the transition to HE of these groups and successful completion of the first year of study.

University of Lodz is a partner in the project. Other consortium members are: University of Wolverhampton, (UK, coordinator), University of Algarve (Portugal) and University of National and World Economy (Bulgaria).
